Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device through your browser by the websites you visit. Cookies allow a site to recognise you when you return, remember your preferences and analyse site usage.

• Necessary Cookies: Required for the site’s core functions (session, security, language preference, cookie consent) to work. Cannot be disabled.
• Performance / Analytics Cookies: Used to measure anonymous statistics such as visitor numbers, pages visited and traffic sources (e.g. Google Analytics). Measurement runs through Google Tag Manager using Google’s “advanced Consent Mode”: unless you give consent, no analytics cookie is written and no identifier is kept; only cookieless, non-identifying aggregate measurement signals are sent to Google. If you consent, full measurement starts; when you withdraw consent, the related cookies are deleted.
• Functionality Cookies: Allow user preferences such as theme, language or region to be remembered.
• Marketing / Targeting Cookies: May be used to show ads and content matching your interests (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads).

The site may use cookies belonging to third-party service providers, primarily Google, Meta and LinkedIn, for purposes such as analytics, advertising and social media integration. These cookies are subject to the providers’ own privacy policies.

Cookies fall into two main groups: those valid for the session (session cookies) and those that remain on your device for a certain period (persistent cookies). The retention period depends on the type of cookie and usually ranges from a few days to 24 months.

Under the KVKK No. 6698, the burden of proving that explicit consent was obtained lies with the data controller. For this reason every decision you make via the cookie banner (accept, reject, custom selection or a later change of preferences) is recorded by us.

Only the minimum data needed for proof is kept in this record: your IP address, the date and time of the decision, which cookie types you allowed, the version of the text you consented to, browser information and a random consent ID assigned to your browser. This ID does not identify you; it only links decisions made from the same browser. The pages you visit, your language preference or your device details are not included in this record.

These records are kept for 36 months (three years) and are deleted automatically at the end of the period. They are kept solely for proof; they are not used for marketing, profiling or analysis and are not shared with third parties.

The records are kept with a chained integrity value so that it can be verified they have not been altered later: each record contains a digest of the previous one, so the deletion or alteration of a record can be detected.

You can set your preferences via the cookie banner shown on your first visit to the site. If you wish to change your decision later, you can use the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of the page to reopen the banner, update your choices or withdraw your consent. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. If necessary cookies are disabled, some features of the site may not work.

Views and clicks are counted on pages published with the link page builder. This measurement is cookieless: nothing is written to your device.

• Unique visitors are counted using an irreversible digest generated on the server. Its inputs are a secret value created for that day, the IP address of the request and the identifier of the page.
• The secret value changes every day, so the records are enough for counting within a day but cannot be joined across days to build a profile. The same person cannot be matched across two different bio pages either.
• The raw IP address is never stored, it is only an input to the digest. The record also keeps the referring address and the device type (desktop/mobile).
• These records are used solely to show statistics to the page owner, are deleted after 12 months and are not shared with third parties.

For a period, a persistent measurement identifier (`talx_bio_vid`) was written to your browser on these pages. That practice was removed on 6 October 2026; when you open such a page again, any previously stored value is deleted from your device.
